We are having an orientation meeting with all selected non-profits and need some volunteers to help out early and make sure that we have everything lined up to hit the ground running October 21st when we start GiveCamp. The event is Saturday September 24th at 11am at the Geek Group. We are seeking anyone willing to volunteer, but specifically we need technical volunteers who know a thing or two about project management and gathering requirements. We want to make sure there are no barriers that will slow us down the weekend of the event. Perhaps we need access to the non-profits existing system, and digging up that password requires getting in contact with the developer of the site? We need to start that email chain now so that it doesn't slow us down come October 21st.
It is also a chance for the non-profits and some of the volunteers to learn more about the weekend, learn about the facility, and be able to help orient others come October 21st.
The meeting is scheduled for 1-2 hours and includes a free lunch.
